Ask your TD/Senator to make a commitment to those on low incomes

You have made the commitment to do everything in your power to ensure that those on the lowest incomes - social welfare and the minimum wage – do not suffer further cuts in the 2011 budget. What is in your power? Well, one of the first things might be to ask your local elected politicians to make the same commitment. 'Fairness' means that those who can best afford it are asked to pay the cost of dealing with our economic crisis - with particular emphasis on those who caused the problem in the first place. To send an e-mail to our local TD/Senator asking them to make the commitment too, just follow the instructions.
